Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Solar Consultant to join our team. The Solar Consultant will be responsible for educating customers on solar energy, designing and presenting solar solutions, and managing the sales process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a passion for renewable energy.
Responsibilities:
Educate potential customers on solar energy and the benefits of solar power.
Conduct on-site consultations to assess solar needs and design custom solar solutions for customers.
Prepare and deliver presentations to potential customers, explaining the details of the solar solution and answering any questions.
Work with customers to finalize contracts and manage the sales process.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and legislation related to solar energy.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire process, from initial consultation to installation and beyond.
You will approach residential homes in a door-to-door setting. The positive outcome of these interactions is a set appointment. As an Solar Consultant, you will work to convert as many cold leads into interested customers as possible.
As you canvas local neighborhoods for Solar Leads, you will explain the value of solar energy as a more-affordable alternative for expensive Natural Gas to new people every day.

Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in solar sales or consulting.
Strong knowledge of solar energy and the solar industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.
Comfortable with technology and able to use a CRM system.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in the industry and company policies.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
