Job Description:
Hello! My name’s Thomas, I am the production manager here at Scribe! We're a local startup that uses robots to produce automated handwritten direct mail.
We then use these letters to build marketing campaigns for our clients and pamper companies customers! As a growing company I am looking for a production associate that would work with me directly to help us keep our growing production line moving!
This person would for now, will be needed on a part time basis, and working mostly nights and weekends to keep everything in manufacturing moving forward. Not only would you be working with our printing and handwriting equipment, but also working with software programs that are easy to learn, and spreadsheets to create these handwritten letters. Business aside, we are a SUPER tight knit company of 5 people, with strong values and a goal to help each other not just in the business, but personally… We all know what it's like to not love the people you work with, so we do everything we can to maintain our tight knit, family culture, and values we all agree to be core to our team. Terms / Hours:
15 hrs weekly and 8 hr every other weekend. 38 hrs every 2 weeks. 76 hrs monthly. These may increase or decrease depending on the discussions of myself, James, and yourself! Shift breakdown: 9:00 pm - 12:00 pm M-F8 hours every other weekend. (Two 4 hour shifts) Salary/rate:$18.00 per/hr
Requirements:
Must be sufficient with computers, spreadsheets, and general software programs, have a servant mentality, and acute attention to organization and detail. Previous print shop experience helpful, but not required!
Responsibilities:
- Follow all production systems, checklists and SOPs.
- Use good organization to start, maintain, finish orders in the pipeline.
- Use good communication between departments and within production to maintain 100% accuracy throughout the order.
- Ability to be self-accountable and honest.
General Work Process and Flow:
Use our various software programs to organize our clients orders, make minor edits to spreadsheets, and organize these into files that will be then organized using our mailing software.
Once you have completed this you will export these files into chips, to then bring to our various printers and handwriting robots. You will then run these machines and robots to produce the mailpiece, then use our inserting and postage equipment to automatically insert letters into envelopes to have them automatically sealed.
After this you will use the automated stamping machine to put postage on all of the mail pieces, before organizing them to be sent. While doing this process, you will be organizing these steps using our crm monday.com.
