Roofer Job Description
We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced roofer to join our team. We specialize in standing seam metal roofing manufacturing and installation. Our company’s roofers primarily install new roofing systems with occasional repair work. Additional duties involve sheet metal installation including but not limited to flashing, gutters, downspouts and metal wall panels. Always use proper fall protection equipment. Update the supervisor on job progress and reporting any problems related to the job.
Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalently. Previous experience in roofing, construction or related scope of work. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Ability to travel via company provided vehicle. Great attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Valid driver’s license/ID and social security card. Must be able to pass background screening to gain access to military bases. Must be reliable and self-motivated. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to work after hours or over weekends with short or no notice.
The ideal candidate for a successful roofer will sustain good working relationships with clients, coworkers and other contractors. An outstanding roofer ensures all safety standards and procedures are always performed.
Compensation includes prevailing wages, paid sick and vacation leave, health and dental insurance, 401k company match.
Typical work schedule is 4-10 hour shifts, Monday-Thursday.
