The role of the IT Infrastructure Manager is to ensure stable operation of data center computer systems, including computing, virtualization, storage, and backups. In addition, maintains skills to fill in and perform systems management functions. This includes planning, designing, deploying, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing IT systems across multiple companies across the Western US.
IT Infrastructure Manage core responsibilities include:
Standardization of processes, procurement, installation, and management of all IT systems across all companies including networking, communications, and hardware.
Creating a roadmap for new acquisitions and current companies to move forward with the standardized policies based on company size and IT requirements.
Monitors the performance of information technology systems and makes recommendations for improving IT infrastructure.
Oversees the annual IT infrastructure budget and ensures cost-effectiveness.
Identifies ways to improve the cost efficiency of technology, continually evaluating vendor solutions in place, and proposing solutions to increase efficiency either through vendor selection and accountability or coordination with operations.
Recommend improvements to server software/hardware and infrastructure standards to improve the reliability, performance and/or cost of the solutions.
Leads infrastructure related IT projects such as implementation of new systems.
Ensures timely resolution and proper documentation of all IT help desk tickets received through an incident tracking system.
Supports a wide range of hardware including windows and mac operating systems and servers.
Interacts with vendors to order equipment/software to maintain inventory.
Implements technology solutions for strategic initiatives, including requirements definition, procurement, configuration, and installation of technology for new services.
Trains staff on various IT topics.
Conducts regular meetings with operations to assure technology is functioning reliably and meeting operational needs.
Migration all companies to standardize Office 365 platform.
IT Infrastructure Manage Description
Manages and maintains, along with contracted vendors, all IT related hardware/software ensuring optimal performance and highest level of availability. Works with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations. Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, installs, and performs testing activities on various computer equipment, peripherals, data communication, and computer network systems.
In the future, this position will supervise and manage Systems Engineers, Systems Administrators, and Helpdesk personnel by providing individual guidance and leadership. Manages staffing for IT Systems Department, including hiring, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation and disciplinary actions.
Monitors data backup systems, ensuring the storage and data protection systems are meeting data owner expectations.
Routinely audits and monitors data center systems for accuracy, performance, and integrity. Applies various analysis tools and techniques to increase quality, productivity, and overall effectiveness of systems.
Review and maintain security equipment and security records as outlined in the policy manual. Act as the liaison with the security monitoring vendors. Maintain the Disaster Recovery plan for your area of responsibility.
Coordinate projects from development through implementation, working with internal and external computer specialists, vendors, etc.
Remains knowledgeable of operations and the computer systems within all departments to provide comprehensive support. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
Some travel to branch locations across the Western US.
IT Infrastructure Manage Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or relevant degree and/or equivalent experience
IT Infrastructure Manage Benefits:

Experience in a decentralized multi-office environment.

License/Certification
