PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Setting roof top units.
- Install and field alterations of ducts to meet SMACNA standards
- Layout and design capabilities
- Reading, understanding and working off of blueprints
- Using your knowledge of controls
- Building strong customer relationships
- Performing various HVAC install related jobs on our commercial sites
- Proficient at most duct system installations from equipment rough in to finish
- Capable of looking ahead and providing foreman a material list as needed
- Continuously represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical work directly related to HVAC
- The ability to run a crew and work as a team
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written
- The ability to prioritize work to maximize efficiency
- To be able to handle multiple projects and work independently
- Great organizational skills
- The ability to solve practical problems
ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED:
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- A flexible attitude, every day could be something different
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues- not required but would be a plus
- Meet physical requirements of position: (bend/stoop, kneel, squat repetitive, climb ladders, climb stairs, stretch/reach, stand on feet for long periods of time, and be able to independently lift, push, pull heavy material weighing up to 60 lbs)
- Available to work overtime when necessary
