VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND AUTO INSURANCE 

Our company specializes in commercial handyman services. This position is responsible for non-mechanical maintenance and repairs in a customer facility. This position is responsible for routine maintenance, operating a variety of hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing sites, and assisting other employees.

Essential Functions:

• Be willing and able to travel 5 days at a time out of state and overnight travel.
• Carry materials and supplies from the truck to the job site.
• Drill holes and make cuts in construction materials to prepare for repair or replacement.
• Demolition & Finish of concrete surfaces. Apply sealants or other protective coatings or materials.
• Utilize mobile elevated work platforms to achieve access to hard-to-reach areas for repair.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and specifications.
• Mix and apply two-component products.
• Clean up the job site at the end of the day and ensure all equipment is properly secure for the night.
• Adhere to company work safety policies. 
• Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time job. Monday through Friday, with the majority of trips working the third shift.

Travel:

This is a traveling position that will be on the road 95% of the time. The company covers all travel expenses, lodging, and food after the first meal while traveling.

• Possess strong attention to detail

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.

• Proficient with Google Suite (Google Sheets & Docs)
• Demonstrated ability through previous experience to keep extremely detailed and concise records
• Possess strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet shifting deadlines
• Possess excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
• Innate internal characteristics to be a self-starter and the ability to follow through on projects and responsibilities
• Ability to analyze and utilize problem-solving skills. 
• While most work is conducted inside, on occasion work must be conducted outdoors regardless of temperature and other environmental factors.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Regularly works with hand and power tools and generally near the public or customer employees
