Industrial Painter- Day Shift and Night Shift

A person in this position would be in charge of applying the coating with a brush and roll or an airless spray rig. 

Essential Functions

• Ensure that the metal part's surface is clean and prepped.
• Mix coatings as needed. 
• Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order.
• Ensuring that high safety standards are met.
• Perform all aspects of a coatings project safely and efficiently. 
• Utilizing special safety equipment such as goggles and personal protective equipment. 
• Operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment, including brush, roll, sprayers, mixing containers, mixing equipment, and pumps.
• Adhere to company work safety policies. 
• Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time job with day and night shifts available.

Preferred Education and Experience 

• Possess strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet shifting deadlines
• Ability to problem-solve
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and extremely strenuous environment. 
• The work is indoors and is extremely loud and dusty.
• Ability to lift < 50 pounds repeatedly, walk and stand for long periods of time (consistently for 4+ hours), and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse conditions.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
• Good manual dexterity and multi-coordination.
• Must be able to work for minimally 3 hours consistently without a break.
• Regularly works in adverse conditions including but not limited to confined spaces, high noise levels, moderate to high heat levels, multiple PPE requirements, and height.
