Recore Electrical is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support the Recore Electrical engineering team. (This is not a remote position)
The BIM Coordinator is part of the production team that supports all levels of the engineering team on electrical projects. This individual manages the process of virtually constructing a building and documenting the design contract from the construction documents set through design build and plan spec submittals. It is their responsibility to manage the models, conduct BIM planning, and ensure collaboration, coordination, and accuracy on all projects. They serve as the go-to person on the project for modeling, documentation, and verifying design intent
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit and related CAD software.
- Experience in model federation workflows using Navisworks.
- Solid understanding of core ANSI drafting standards.
- Familiarity with design practices relating to the electrical field.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Candidates must be able to clearly articulate advanced concepts in a way that team members at all levels can understand.
- Candidates should possess the ability to teach others to understand and use BIM concepts and tools.
- Degree in computer aided drafting or electrical engineering/technology preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to details is a must.
- The ideal candidate must be a team player that has passion for their work.
Experience:
- Candidates must possess at least 1 year of relevant experience with Autodesk Revit.
- Electrical experience is preferred but not required.
