Title: Youth Services Supervisor
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9AM - 5PM
Pay: $43,173 - $53,966

Child Crisis Arizona has been helping our community's most vulnerable children, youth, and families for nearly five decades, offering help in times of crisis but also in non-crisis times to strengthen families & build resiliency. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Oversight of children’s services; including but not limited to intakes, discharges, all behavioral health related needs, medical and educational needs of children in care.
• Oversee and ensure all screenings, assessments are completed with the children in required timelines.
• Ensure all data is entered and tracked accurately for all screenings, assessments, appointments in a timely fashion
• Ensures data is entered and tracked accurately for children’s case plans within the appropriate database system; med logs; and master tracking.
• Oversee and coordinate weekly team meetings regarding the children’s case plans; ensure communication with all necessary internal and external parties occurs timely for children in Shelter care.
• Participate in offsite Child and Family Team Meetings (CFT) and oversee that team is interacting professionally with other external parties that interact with our children in care regularly, such as; DCS, parents, guardians, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, RBHA, Parent Aides, CASA, Tribal Social Services, school district, etc.
• Oversee the coordination of visitation and contact of children with family members, transition into next placement and other deemed as appropriate.
• Oversee the coordination of transportation to/from appointments and school.
• Review all incident reports daily to ensure accuracy; communicate as needed with DCS Case Manager all necessary information; report all serious incidents to the hotline and look into any patterns of incidents to minimize ongoing concerns with children in care.
• Seek out and utilize outside services, such as the crisis teams and behavior health agencies as appropriate; seek feedback from staff as to what is working and what supports they would like to continue to see in the houses.
• Oversee the ongoing work with the children that occurs individually and in groups to meet their needs while in care. 
• Oversee the support plans that capture the child’s strengths, needs and culture of the child and/or family. Work with all the staff involved on how to best implement the support plan daily, how to overcome barriers and how you and the team can best support staff in meeting the child’s needs.
• Maintain and oversee the residential calendar to ensure all necessary appointments, field trips and volunteer information is communicated and accurate.
• Oversee and maintain licensing and contract requirements.
• Models Center’s expectation for sensitivity and competency relating to diversity and cultural awareness.
• Conducts and offers support to the case management team at the residential sites.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
• Minimum three years’ experience in Case Management 
• Must have at least 2 year prior lead or supervisory experience.
• Experience working with DCS and other state child welfare agencies
• Must have prior experience providing coaching/feedback and training of staff
• Experience in word processing in a Windows environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bilingual but not required.
• Must have valid Arizona Driver’s license, exhibit the ability to operate Agency vans and/or vehicles safely and be able to be added to Agency auto policy.
