HR / COO Administrative Assistant

Salary Range:  $21.50 - $23.50 hour

Title: HR Admin Asst.
Pay: $21.50 - $23.50
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8AM - 4:30PM
Location: Mesa, AZ

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Performs general administrative support to Senior Human Resources Director, HR team, and Chief Operating Officer.
  •  Assist HR team with pre-employment document submission, verification, review and upload into the HRIS database within prescribed deadlines; ensures all forms are up-to-date.
  • Responsible for greeting guests, answering phones, and relaying messages.
  • Responsible for preparing various reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Attend and participate in designated agency related meetings as appropriate; take minutes and distribute as assigned.
  • Support Human Resources and COO team with additional assigned support functions.
  • Monitor Child Crisis Arizona HR email mailbox to ensure timely responses to employee questions and requests.
  • Responsible for ordering supplies.
  • Create HR fliers and distribute to program sites.
  • Assist with organizing HR site visits, engagement events, and other activities.
  • Complete monthly expense reports.
  • Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Models Center’s expectation for sensitivity and competency relating to diversity and cultural inclusion.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma; Associates Degree preferred 
  •  3 years recent experience
  • Experience working with Human Resources teams preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Microsoft suite software (word, excel and PowerPoint)
  • Able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and needs of external and internal customers 
  • Manual data entry experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data and information
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must possesses or be willing to obtain a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
