Craftsman Painter offers interior painting and cabinet painting services directly to homes and businesses in the Louisville, KY market as well as several cities around the country. Our design centered approach to sales and our artistic approach to painting make for a creative team culture and a rewarding service to bring to market. We are looking for courageous marketers with a startup mentality to help us grow this new location.
Position Overview
As a field marketer you will implement methods of direct marketing that include distributing promotional materials, generating leads, and networking in the field (i.e. direct to households and businesses).
You will identify high potential locations where our potential buyers live and work, and educate them about our service offerings, inspect their buildings for issues, and share the latest color and design trends.
You will also invite them to follow our brand on social media and help interested buyers schedule appointments with our color designers.
Your primary objective will be to generate leads and set sales appointments for our Color Designers.

This position is ideal for marketers who aren't afraid to get out into the community and talk to people.
If you think of yourself as a people person and someone who likes to engage in conversation, then the primary skill you need is a willingness to open your mouth.
As a field marketer, you will be very mobile, walking up steps and down driveways and making it around town to different neighborhoods and business centers. You'll put yourself in front of as many people as possible to spread the joy of painting.

The primary benefit to working as a Field Marketer is the marketing and sales training that you'll receive, as well as the experience of working in the marketing space. You'll also have opportunity as you learn and grow to develop into a sales professional or venturing into leadership positions or other avenues of marketing such as social media marketing, and personal brand marketing.
Compensation
This position can easily become great money for a part-time worker or a full-time professional. You will be compensated for setting appointments, earning $50 for every appointment you set, plus a 2% bonus commission for every appointment that turns into a sale. You'll set a minimum goal of generating 3-5 appointments per session, doing up to five sessions per week. Doing a little math, that means you could bring home between $35,000-$45,000 per year on a very flexible schedule.
Time Expectations
Our expectation is that you will be able to set time in your schedule to work five field marketing sessions per week. A session is a block of 5-6 hours when you will be directly distributing promotional materials to homes and businesses. You will be outside a majority of the time and walking from building to building. You have flexibility in when you schedule these sessions, whether evenings, weekends, or during the day. Furthermore, you can also double your sessions by doing a minimum of 10 hours in one day.
