Job description:
Oceania International was founded in 2014 and is currently a nine-figure business with triple-digit annual growth. It is engaged in full value chain cross-border e-commerce. We are looking for a strong Finance Manager to manage all U.S. financial operations and conduct Business Financial Planning and analysis, Business Control, Cost/Expense optimization and Liaison with the accounting team to ensure proper accounting procedure and process are being followed and develop and enhance internal control policies, and provide accurate reporting.
General Responsibilities
- Identify new metrics to drive business performance relative to strategic priorities while minimizing risk
- Drive value within the business through margin enhancement, lowering costs and driving operational efficiencies
- Execute accurate reporting, analyze and make financial recommendations for the business
- Provide assistance to the accounting team on all daily and month-end accounting procedures for the account results, including P&L activity (management fees, fee splits, gross-up entries, reclasses, etc.), balance sheet activity (deferrals, accruals); accounts receivable /cash application in compliance with GAAP
- Support the development of ongoing measurement, tracking performance versus expectations, and providing recommendations for business actions
- Provide insight on spending trends and identify cost-savings and margin opportunities
- Comply with federal, state, and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation, and maintaining compliance
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting or related field
- 3-5 years of financial or accounting experience preferably in FP&A
- Personal integrity; ability to keep client and company confidences
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
- Mandarin Speaking - Required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen skills
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of Accounting principles and procedures
