Piroshky Piroshky Bakery is seeking a Full Time Front of House Supervisor
The FOH Supervisor oversees daily "on the floor" operations of the bakery, ensuring health, safety and company standards are enforced and executed consistently and successfully. FOH works closely with co-supervisors, as well as cashiers, shift leads and managers. The FOH Supervisor also works with BOH department communicating inventory needs and anticipating business levels and fluctuations throughout the day to determine baking output. The FOH Supervisor plays a pivotal role as a leader and coach for the FOH team and ensuring the bakery operates optimally.
Starting Wage is: $20.00/hour + Tips (Average of 5-8/hour additional!)
Essential Job Responsibilities & Functions to include but not limited to:

- Conduct all duties and actions in a safe and secure manner, following safety guidelines as well as all company policies & procedures
- Be able to work in a divers team, stay consistently professional and always follow safety standards
Position Duties:
- Maintain master schedule, including modifying shifts, recording call-outs (UAs), etc.
- Assist with training new employees
- Conduct and assist FOH hiring process, assisting with working interviews, orientation, etc.
- Participate in employee review process
- Supervise the staffing for FOH, assessing business needs to determine over/under staffing
- Requesting money from managers
- Notifying staff of schedule changes
- Vendor ordering
- Safe counts - daily, weekly, monthly and reporting an discrepancies mmediately
- Tip management
- Weekly/monthly meeting participation with agenda
- Implement and oversee efficient floor rotation (initiating expediting, rotate personnel, adding/removing POS stations, etc.
- Create efficient daily break and lunch schedule
- Opening/Closing of bakery, including cleaning procedures
- Shift coverage
- Accessing change safe, ensuring appropriate record keeping for all movement of money
- POS troubleshooting
- Implementing POS back-up plan
- Reimbursement of employee expenses when necessary
- Being "on-floor" point of contact for emergencies, customers escalations, etc.
- Recording & tracking tardies
- Be proficient in all shift lead job duties
- Oversee all floor positions (shift leads, cashiering, food back, dishwashing, line management, cleaning)
- Other various duties as assigned
Supervisor Duties:
- Observe and enforce company policies, procedures and goals - both short and long term
- Ensure all the onboarding procedures are executed in timely manner
- Hold weekly meetings with leadership team
- Communicate relevant information in a timely manner across stakeholders
- Act as mentor and resource for staff
- Be able to participate in solution based, forward moving conflict resolution
- Ensure consistent HR staff notes are executed, maintained and submitted
- Issue limited disciplinary action as needed (i.e. safety issues, immediate action, etc.)
- Assessing business needs to determine over/under staffing, overseeing adjustments as needed
- Have oversight of day to day operations across all assigned departments
- Monitor direct employees productivity and provide constructive on-going feedback, coaching and development
- Manage and resolve any emergencies as needed
- Training and coaching of direct employees
Requirement:
- Authorized to work in the US per state & federal law
- Must be 18 years or older
- Possess/Obtain and keep current all necessary permits/licenese needed throughout duration of employment
- 1 year or more previous managerial/supervisory experience managing at least 5-10 people, in a high volume food establishment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dependable transportation

Working Environment & Physical Demands
- Work in the bakery setting, which includes exposure to high amounts of flour, spices and meat smells
- Must be comfortable with the different working environment the job entrails (high volume customers, crowded areas, basement area, etc.)
- Must be comfortable working in front of the public, often displaying your work progress to onlookers with being photographed and engaged in conversations with the public/customers
- Constantly moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environment including tight and confined spaces
- Frequently remaining in a stationary position, offend standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Frequently moving about to accomplish tasks and frequently moving from one worksite to another
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 300 pounds in all directions, lifting up to 50 ponds and maneuvering heavy, tall cards as needed safely
- Constantly communicating loudly, effectively, and safely with others to exchange information, warning other staff of their presence and movements to meet safety practice standards
- Be able to exchange safety communications and direction from other staff withal working in a loud environment
- Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Frequently pipetting machinery and oven equipment
- Constantly assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
