Title: Physical Therapist

Clinic Setting:

TheraPlay Spot is a sensory-focused pediatric outpatient clinic located a five-minute walk from the beautiful Keeper of the Plains and downtown Wichita. The patient experience begins in a forest-themed waiting room and is carried over into individual treatment rooms or our amazing PT gym which includes a trampoline, balance beam, variety of swings, adaptive bikes/trikes, treadmill, balance board, wedges, rock-climbing wall and more!

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a caseload consisting of 20+ hours of scheduled patients
• Evaluate children ages birth to young adult with a variety of diagnoses
• Create a POC with achievable and meaningful goals 
• Treat children with playful and highly beneficial sessions
• Empower and coach parents for home carryover 
• Communicate openly and effectively with children, families and co-workers
• Complete timely and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with other PTs, OT’s and speech therapists
• Attend regular staff meetings, presentations and in-services

 Requirements:

• License: Driver’s license, KS Physical Therapy license
• Experience: Minimum one year pediatric out-patient experience preferred
• Must be physically able to manage handling and transfer techniques required for each child
• Other: 
  • Able to work independently with minimal to no supervision
  • Must pass prior employer check and criminal background check

Pay: Depends on Experience, $31 to $40/hour

 **Up to $1500 Retention Bonus for Full-Time and $750 for Qualified Part-Time Employment**
