BIM/CAM Coordinator in Prefab / Luxury Construction

Salary Range:  $110,000 - $150,000 year

Escobedo Group is looking for a BIM/CAM Coordinator in Prefab Construction to become part of the Escobedo Group team. You'll be working in a highly creative environment where you will have the responsibility and opportunity to explore innovative construction methods and the finer details of unique projects in collaboration with each division of our company (design, fabrication, millworks, stoneworks, and metalworks). Requirements include hands-on experience in construction, CNC manufacturing, and 3D modeling skills. Also, important are attention to detail, an inquisitive mindset, and a proactive approach. Experience with modular construction is a big plus.

Our ideal candidate is eager to contribute and engage with the full design, fabrication, and build process. Using our Dario Panelized System we are creating and contributing to innovations in high-end custom residential construction.

Your main tasks as a new team member will be operating in a 3D environment to generate light gauge steel framing based on 3D architectural models. This will consist of coordination across trades, including integration of light gauge steel with MEP and structural steel.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in the construction industry
  • High-level experience with 3D design tools (Revit preferred)
  • Able to establish workflows, and modeling techniques from design to coordinator in Revit, BIM, etc.
  • CNC equipment experience (Light Gauge Steel Forming Machines, CNC Routers...)
  • Able to work under tight deadlines with quality deliverables
  • Able to work independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Structural engineering skills would be a great asset
