This position requires extensive construction knowledge along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to create and maintain budgets and work in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This is a professional role in our organization: the individual in this role will be client-facing, run a team of employees and subcontractors, and report to senior management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
  • Review, understand and implement schedules and budgets, and maintain throughout the project lifecycle
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, or clients’ representative
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
  • Manage resources to ensure delivery of all projects on time, within scope, and within budget, including availability and allocation of labor, material, and equipment
  • Help define project scope, objectives, and technical feasibility, and involve all relevant parties
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Successfully manage relationships with clients or clients’ representatives, as well as third parties/vendors

  • Supervisory experience with employees and/or sub-contractors
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal, professional demeanor
  • Ability to think on your feet, and make your own decisions but also know when to escalate
  • Safety Training – OSHA 10/30 preferred
  • Strong computer skills, familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software, MS Office (Excel and Word), and various project scheduling tools
  • BS Degree in an appropriate field is preferred
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus

Our Successful Applicant:

  • 5 years minimum experience within high-end luxury custom home projects
  • Have carried and led multiple production home projects valued at $5MM - $20MM
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
  • Significant project management experience (past field experience as a superintendent within the Texas market is a plus, but not required)
  • Lead and managed teams focusing on single-family residential and production

Project Managers and Superintendents within our company are most often stationed at the project they are managing. This may be within the immediate Austin area or could require travel. Remotely located projects are constructed in a manner that dramatically reduces the duration on-site compared to conventional construction, requiring less onsite time for the Project Manager. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

We offer a competitive salary, full benefits package, and the opportunity to work in an innovative, collaborative environment.  Relocation assistance is available.
