We are seeking an entry-level recruiter to join our clients legal recruitment agency. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for legal positions in various practice areas, including litigation, corporate, and intellectual property. The recruiter will also be responsible for managing the recruitment process from start to finish, including coordinating interviews, checking references, and negotiating job offers.
Willing to look at College Students that graduated with a Legal Degree that would like to break into the Human Resources field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and referrals
- Screen and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for specific legal positions
- Manage the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, checking references, and negotiating job offers
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates, clients, and other legal professionals
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes to inform recruitment strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure successful placement of candidates
- Meet and exceed recruitment targets and KPIs
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with candidates and clients
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the legal industry and recruitment process preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with applicant tracking systems
- Sales skills
- Legal background a plus
