Pre Fab Shed Installer

We are seeking professional general home remodeling professionals that can reassemble pre-manufactured sheds. The candidate is expected to work with little or no supervision. One of our most important customers will be Home Depot, that requires all contractors to pass an HD background investigation and carry an HD idenfitaction badge

Responsibilities:

• Able to travel to the customer’s regional warehouse and to job sites around the general Raleigh metropolitan region and, from time-to-time throughout a slightly larger geographic area.
• Must represent both Pella and Triangle in a professional and courteous manner. We are guests in someone’s home and stewards of one of America’s most respected window and door companies.
• Must be able to remove and install windows and doors quickly, addressing unexpected problems with minimal help from Pella or Triangle, then leave a clean worksite. Debris is disposed upon return to the Pella distribution center.
  

Candidate   Requirements: 

1. Passing the Tuff Shed training program for product installation (critical for warranty purposes). This includes the assembly of a shed at the Tuff Shed Regional Installation Center and a second shed at a local HD. 

2. Experienced in general construction skills including reading and following installation instructions, climbing, lifting, nailing, hammering, measuring, etc.

3. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

4. Lead Installer:

   1. Truck/Van and Trailer (dual axle 16-20 ft. flatbed) capable of transporting the customer’s products from the regional distribution center to the job site.

   2. All tools necessary for the professional and efficient assembly of the shed (see attached).

5. All installers must have basic tools for installation of windows and doors (e.g. tape measure and small tools such as tape measure and hammer).
