Mr. Fix It of Sierra Vista, AZ currently has openings for fence installer positions coming available in the Colorado Springs, CO area. You will be working on a military base, so a clean criminal record and a valid driver's license are a MUST. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work alone or with a crew, able to troubleshoot on-site issues, and follows directions/guidance. Candidate must be honest and dependable. 

As a Fence Installer, you should be skilled when it comes to installing various types of fences on commercial, industrial, and residential properties. Additionally, you should demonstrate proper and safe usage of specialized fencing equipment and tools. After every installation, you will be required to examine the fences and ensure they are installed correctly and safely. In the end, our ideal candidate will have great communication and organization skills, as well as attention to detail and physical strength.

Fence Installer Duties & Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients to determine the type and function of the fencing
• Inspect property plans and measure the length of the property
• Determine fence parameters
• Determine the amount of material needed to complete the installation
• Dig holes and prepare the site for installation
• Install fences around industrial, commercial, and residential properties
• Trim and adjust fencing sections to ensure they are the appropriate size
• Join, weld, and secure the fence segments in place
• Provide an estimated timeline and price for the completion of the installation
• Remove and clean old fences and debris
• Mix, prepare, and pour concrete in post holes
• Examine fences and ensure they are installed correctly and safely

Fence Installer Requirements:

• High school diploma or a GED
• Working experience in construction, carpentry, or a similar job
• Relevant training or license for installing fences
• Strong knowledge of fencing equipment and tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Great organization skills
• Attention to detail and dexterity
• Physical strength and adaptability
