Description

E & S Orthodontics is seeking a highly motivated Orthodontic Clinical Assistant in our Peoria location. Must exude enthusiasm, self-motivation, and have a desire to provide amazing patient care and excellent customer service. Must have great communication skills, ambition, and attention to detail. Our Orthodontic Clinical Assistant's learn how to think like an orthodontist and find that they operate more like a junior orthodontist and less like an assistant. They learn new skills regularly and become proficient at all aspects of orthodontics from taking exceptional records, placing brackets, bending wires, removing appliances, and much more! We have a fun and rewarding environment where you are encouraged to think for yourself! The Right Orthodontic Clinical Assistants will be able to:

• Take accurate records including photos, x-rays and impressions
• Precisely bond brackets
• Place and remove wires efficiently 
• Be mindful of the schedule
• Remove appliances
• Be punctual
• Put the needs of the patients and the team above themselves...
• ...and trust that the team will protect eachothers needs
• act with kindness and compassion towards patients and other team members
• communicate effectively with patients and their families
• and have fun!

Orthodontic Assisting Training and Education Requirements

• High school diploma
• Computer knowledge and an eagerness to learn on the job
• Minimum 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience
• Bi-Lingual is a PLUS!
