Metal Fabrication Inc. is hiring for TIG-Pipe Welder/Fitter to join our established, Nationally recognized company , work starts immediately! All positions are full-time (40+ hours) Monday til Thursday working 10 to 12 hour days.
We are seeking a highly experienced TIG welder to become an integral part of our team!
Stainless Steel TIG welding
Must have a great attitude and great work ethic.
Ability to work with minimal supervision. Print reading ability is a must
Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in welding, knowledge of welding procedures, and various types of welding equipment, proficient in flat, vertical, overhead, and horizontal arc, SMAW and flux-core, tig welding and air arc skills, flux core.
Job Summary
Welds a variety of metal surfaces or pipe using various types of welding equipment. Welds shell plating, fabricated cast or forged components according to specifications for vessels, tanks or other structural assemblies. Performs other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.
Disassembly, inspection of components, reports on damage, building of hydraulic cylinders, assembly of components and testing to insure proper operation. Candidates will be trained in the process that we do. Must be able to read blueprints. Helpful skills would be hydraulic work and maintenance experience. Conveyor belt repair and adjustment, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, and water pump service. Perform cutting, grinding, and welding as needed.
Essential Job Task:
Set up tools, welding equipment and supplies at job site
Burns pipe or penetrations.
Tacks and welds pipe.
Cleans weld area; sweeps and removes scrap.
Other job duties as may be assigned relevant to the trade.
*Notifies supervisor of any mechanical issues
*Ensures that the finished product meets quality expectations.
*Maintains a clean and safe work area
*Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Wage is dependent on experience with potential raises based upon quality of work.
$20.00-24.00
