Quality Restoration, a growing home maintenance company, is looking for an experienced and dependable Handyman to join our service team. You must be familiar with drywall repair and finishing, trim carpentry, interior painting, home maintenance, and fixture installation. The ideal candidate is comfortable using hand and power tools and is physically able to work from heights and in tight spaces.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repair and patch drywall, including texture matching
- Interior painting and caulking, walls and trim
- Trim carpentry using pneumatic air-guns, table saws, and miter saws
- Ability to find and diagnose problem areas and develop solutions
- Assist with some carpentry projects
- Perform basic home maintenance duties as required
- Willingness to drive Valley-wide to various job sites
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Construction/carpentry experience (preferred)
- Attention to detail
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must have own transportation
- Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to discuss job scope and expectations with clients.
- Candidates should be able to estimate the job scope for labor and materials accurately. Developing cost estimates and successfully selling work is a requirement of this position.
