Drywall Installer and Finisher

Salary Range:  $16 - $23 hour

Quality Restoration is seeking an experienced Drywall Installer and Finisher technician. Quality Restoration specializes in a wide field of contracting work, ranging from single-unit kitchen & bath remodels to multi-family building rehabs. Drywall Installer and Finisher will be measuring, cutting and fitting drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings. To be successful as a Drywall Installer and Finisher, you should be able to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a high quality of work.

Quality Restoration is an established emergency mitigation service company specializing in water, fire, and mold damage as well as turnkey reconstruction. We have been serving Utah for over 12 years, and we continue to grow!

The Reconstruction Team is responsible for putting homes back to pre-loss conditions after mitigation services have been provided and for completing new home warranty items for new home builders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisor or homeowner regarding painting/drywall specifications and job requirements.
  • Select premixed paints or mixes required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.
  • Paint surfaces
  • Fills nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler.
  • Erects scaffolding or sets up ladders to perform tasks above ground level.
  • Provides information and recommendations to prepare bids and estimates.
  • Duties will include Framing, Installation of Drywall, Finishing, and Painting.

Skills and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in finishing drywall
  • Ability to learn new skills with attention to detail
  • Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts, or other equipment.
  • Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend, or kneel while wearing a tool belt
  • Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions
  • Adhere to all OSHA safety practices and procedures
