.Net Developer

Salary Range:  $56 - $57 hour

Responsibilities

1. The Senior .NET Software developer is responsible for collaborating with the 

Organization, Project Managers, Architect, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance, in the process of 

creating software deliverables and artifacts.

2. As a member of the team, you must adhere to the organization’s methodologies and standards, and propose

improvements based on software development best practices. 

3. Daily usage of the following tools:  Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2017/19, Team Foundation Server, 

SQL Server Management Studio and Oracle SQL Developer.

4. Participation in full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis and design, working 

closely with analyst, design and QA personnel

5. Strong knowledge in multi-tier Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

6. Solid experience with client-side JavaScript libraries.

7. Solid understanding of design patterns    (e.g. MVC)

8. Proactively raise issues and offer solutions.

9. Participate in daily Kanban meeting to discuss current tasks and status.

10. Submit weekly status reports.

Education and Experience Level

1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a major in software engineering, computer science, information 

systems, or a related field.

2. Thorough knowledge of tools and processes used in the Software Development Lifecycle Process.  

3. Proven record of accomplishment working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and with cross-

functional teams.

4. 7+ years of experience as a full stack ASP.NET using VB.Net Web Forms and C#/MVC.

5. 7+ years of experience     hands-on knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle

6. 5+ years  JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g. Angular JS, Bootstrap and jQuery)

7. Knowledge in OO development principles, multi-tier web application design and relational database 

principles

8. 5+ years working with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

9. Experience with accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance.

10. Experience with Agile development methodologies

11. Experience with responsive web design/development.

12. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

13. Experience with legacy EEC applications

14. Experience with Standards Navigator

15. Excellent written/verbal communication & documentation skills.

16. Experience related to K-12 education/curriculum standards would be a plus.

17. Experience with cloud solutions/technologies, specifically AWS is also a plus.

18. Ability to adjust to changing situations to address emergencies, program changes, or production 

requirements.
