Salesforce Architect

Salary Range:  $78 - $78 hour

Qualifications

 7+ years of experience building on Salesforce platform

 Hands-on experience defining system architecture, identifying gaps between current and desired end-

states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business 

outcomes

 Experience developing advanced Apex/Lightning components, advanced complex triggers, Visualforce 

pages,  SOQL, SOSL    , scheduled batch jobs and SOAP/REST Integrations 

 Must have extensively worked on the development of advanced complex triggers, Visualforce pages, 

scheduled batch jobs and SOAP/REST Integrations 

 Hands-on experience in administration setup, e.g., managing users, security controls, and data as well as 

creating roles and profiles

 Security - Setup Profiles, Permission sets, Field level security Role hierarchy based on Organizational 

needs, in addition to sharing rules 

 Experience creating reports using various types and dashboards 

 Data Management: Experience in uploading/clean-up data using data loader. Experience creating 

validation rules, pick list values, and lookup filters to help ensure data quality 

 Experience customizing Account, Lead, Contact, Opportunity, Case objects. Experience configuring lead 

mapping, Setup account and Opportunity teams, setup Assignment rules, auto-response rules, and 

escalation rules to improve Sales and Service productivity/adoption

 Experience implementing several utility frameworks – Object copy, rollup summary, Custom Email App 

etc. 

 Experience implementing customer facing community portals

 Architect and design API enabled gateway for Salesforce web services

 Process Automation – Leverage Salesforce workflows and Process Builder to help automate dozens of 

manual processes. 

 Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval 

processes, validation rules, custom tabs, Visualforce pages and email generation according to application 

requirements

 Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities and the ability to recommend best practices 

and identify areas where custom development is required

 Experience authoring requirements, definition, design, and other related project and system 

documentation

 Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices,

and deployment methodologies

 Experience with Agile methodologies and running projects on Agile

 Ability to communicate with customers and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions

 Good problem-solving skills and ability to give optimal solutions

 Active Salesforce certifications: Admin/Developer/Architect

Responsibilities: 

 Serve as primary System architect and developer for the Salesforce environments 

 Hands on configuration and development in addition to providing architectural oversight

 Provide solutions to business requests and design required architecture

 Handle administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, 

workflows, and other routine tasks 

 Respond to end user issues, enhancement requests and other administrative needs 

 Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests 

 Manage existing and new integration of applications to Salesforce

 Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development 

requirements

 Effectively act as the liaison between our users and application development team

 Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades 

 Work with line of business partners to establish suitable processes to support development and 

change management activities 

 Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set and adoption across the 

organization

 Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code with best practices

 Write test classes for the class that you develop and ensure more than 80% code coverage

 Test bug fixes to make sure they work as per requirements, then deploy them to production

 Take ownership of project work and developing client relationships
