She or he will work closely with the Businesses (Boards/Programs) stakeholders and the IT Application Manager to analyze,
document, and improve business and IT systems and processes. They will work with stakeholders to identify application requirements
and develop robust UAT procedures. The Business Analyst will apply industry best practices and maintain the results in a centralized
knowledge repository.
Key Responsibilities
Consults with functional stakeholders and personnel to identify, define, and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, and issues.
Tracks and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications; writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.
Drive requirement elicitation to develop test cases functional testing.
Participate in Smoke Testing of new releases after deployment to new environments.
Document and report test results.
Suggest process improvements and other cost saving measures.
Elicits and documents requirements for COTS applications and in-house developments.
Analyzes the feasibility of planned systems, enhancements, and upgrades to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.
Identifies opportunities for improving and streamlining IT processes as well as eliminating security risks (compliance).
Assists in developing an overall change management strategy.

Qualifications
Mandatory skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Management, or equivalent work experience
+3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
Experience in requirement elicitation and analysis.
Experience in functional test case (UAT) development
Proficiency using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams and Atlassian JIRA
Possess strong organizational, presentation and customer service skills.
Desirable
Experience working as a Project Manager (Ideally PMP certification)
Knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) practices
