Accounting Manager
MMI is an industrial contractor and steel fabricating company based in Mesa, Arizona. MMI has been in business since 1974 and continues to grow each year. We are very proud of the more than 160 loyal members of our team and are looking for individuals to contribute at a very high level.
MMI is looking to hire an Accounting Manager who will plan and direct the accounting activities of the department.
Education and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
- Eight years or more of accounting experience required.
- Two years or more of supervisory experience required.
- Certified Public Accountant designation a plus.
The Accounting Manager needs to have these skills/Abilities:
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in accounting software. Experience with Foundation Software a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Pay range: $95K - $109K depending on experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for billing, collections, accounts payable, sales tax, payroll, etc.
- Recruits and hires accounting and financial staff and conducts performance evaluations.
- Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
