Part Time Nanny for Three Little Girls North Scottsdale

It's a lively household, and your help is needed primarily for the youngest 2 year old while the older girls (4 and 6) are in school. The two year old is independent and curious, so you as an organized nanny will take the lead to teach age appropriate skills (imaginative play!) and other developmental appropriate activities. That includes outings to swim, dance and music classes as well as crafts and outdoor activities to help expose her to different interests.  Once the older girls get home, follow the family routine, help prepare and encourage the children during their activities.

You might also help with light meal prep, keep all things related to the kids in order, and keeping track of kids schedules - should be easy and fun. There is a family schedule already for you to step in a take ownership, and through your hands on observations and resourcefulness, it can be adjusted as needed.

Driving the children to various activities will be a needed and there is a family car available to you. Be more than a driver/organizer but also be a source of encouragement and a role model to these sisters.

Parents both work full time, sometimes travelling, at an office or at times may be working from home. When the family vacations out of town you may be asked if you would like to join to help with the children.  

The family has a has an older dog who will need to be let out during the day.

You'll Need:

• Flexibility. For those rare last minute changes.
• Communication Skills. Can't be afraid to ask questions to clarify and confirm.
• Organization. Think ahead, anticipate needs and prepare for them.

Employment is through Jovie of North Scottsdale, and we have opportunities to work with other families for additional hours. After your phone screen, the first interview is virtual. Onboarding orientation is in-person.

Location: Near Shea and 100th Street. Scottsdale 85259

Schedule: Tuesday / Thursday (11:00 - 5pm) and Fridays (11:00am – 4pm)

Start: January 2023.

Pay: $22/hr. We are a legal W2 employer.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 non-family references (including babysitting) related to working with children, paid or unpaid, add to your application under “Summarize your childcare/role modeling experience”
• Access to safe, reliable transportation and a good driving record.
• Active mindset and strong enough to interact and lead.
• Ability to pass extensive background check.
