Valley Handy, the maintenance division for Capstone Realty Professionals, a local real estate brokerage, is a hiring for a Residential Maintenance Technician for an immediate need. Our team currently services the Phoenix Metro area and does handyman services for occupied and vacant rental properties.
Our ideal Tech will have experience in plumbing, electrical, and/or mechanical systems of a residential home. Painting experience is a plus.
This person will be working independently, doing light to mid sized jobs on residential homes throughout the Valley. The work is consistent.
Your duties will include:
Clean/restore recently vacated residential properties.
Change bulbs, locks/keys
Perform maintenance and light repairs on occupied properties including lite plumbing, electrical and HVAC troubleshooting.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalency is highly preferred
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems
A current, valid clean Driver’s license is required , and must be maintained throughout the course of employment
Two (2) years of experience in residential construction/maintenance/repair; an Educational or Trade certificate in a related field may be substituted for two (2) years of experience
Strong mechanical aptitude, and well-rounded hands on mechanical skills
Ability to work well with people, with strong customer service skills
Ability to use a smartphone for scheduling and coordination
Hours are Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM.
