Commercial HVAC Install/Tech Helper

HERS is looking to immediately hire an entry-level HVAC install/tech helper to join an established HVAC company. This company is looking for individuals who want to get into the trade and start a career path in HVAC installation.  Become a member of a team devoted towards top craftsmanship and quality customer service.

Description:

HVAC company is looking for a full-time/year-round commercial HVAC install/tech helper to assist the lead installer deliver the highest quality, positive timely installation experience for their customers.  The goal is to complete consistent satisfactory installations to maximize customer relations and profitability.  Looking for a team player with strong communications skills and a desire to provide quality, honest service to each customer.  We need confident, experienced, trustworthy, professional technician for their company.  This full-time position is offering $9 to $11 per hour depending on experience and also offers training.  Successful candidate must be able to travel as needed. 

Responsibilities:

• Works under supervision of installer to install HVAC equipment and accessories in commercial setting;
• Assists in the installation of ducts and duct fittings;
• Performs duties so as to deliver excellent customer service and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction;
• Assists in the delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation work;
• Assists the installer in ensuring company property, vehicles, and tools are being properly used, maintained, and accounted for;
• Performs similar/other duties as needed or assigned;
• Follow company’s procedures and protocols;
• Travel as needed;
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization; and
• As required, completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of light commercial instillation or HVAC service experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules;
• Ability to travel as needed;
• Driver’s license and clean driving record; and
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.
